The Best Ways to Organize Your Bathroom
Bathrooms can be very awkward to organize, it may be small, too large, barely any room to walk. Whatever the situation is in your bathroom let’s declutter it to make it more functional for yourself, family, or guests. Or do this method in all your bathrooms.
Why is Organizing a Bathroom Important?
There are many reasons an organized bathroom is important! The main reason may not be what you think it is.
The main reason for having a bathroom organized is for sanitary reasons! Wait, what? Sanitary reasons? What does that mean?
Glad you asked! When you flush the toilet there are little particles of water that splash out of the toilet and can splash on your toothbrushes that are right next to the toilet. The toilet water can splash on anything that is next to the toilet.
We all know that the lid to the toilet does not go down after flushing or while flushing so keeping your space organized and sanitary will keep you from not only getting sick but from the little ones bringing the toilet germs into other parts of the home such as when your cooking, sleeping, eating, etc. Gross huh!
The obvious reason for an organized bathroom is being able to find what you need ALWAYS! 🙂
Decluttering Tools That Are Needed
Grab a trash bin because chances are you will be throwing a ton of expired stuff away. (if you have done your research ahead of time then you will know how to discard these items appropriately).
For now, if you throw everything in one space now and then go through it when you are done to dispose of it properly you can not only get more done but be able to focus on one thing at a time.
Next grab your sanitizers and your go-to wipe off the cloth, towel, or paper towels.
Grab a couple of boxes that you will want to donate to the thrift store or to family or friends. or to sell.
Grab a timer whether it is your phone, Alexa, or an alarm clock or a kitchen timer just grab something!

Try the minimalist approach. (But look at it how you view what minimalist means to you)
For example, do you honestly need 20 different colored towels? Do you honestly need 20 different mix-matched sets of sheets and pillowcases? No, you do not unless you have a family of 20 then yes it will be convenient. But if you have a family of three, no you don’t honestly need that many.
If you make space in your area and end up with blank space use it to your benefit, space out your items to make it look more cohesive-looking!
