HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE FABRIC SOFTENER

I have been testing out different types of recipes and I have been using this recipe for about three months already. I really like it. I noticed the vinegar smell goes away after a month in the item you store it in.

I used what was recommended in my HE machine and I felt I needed to add a little more. It made a difference in the smell of the clothes, which was what I wanted.

I did not notice any residue on the clothes, inside the machine, or any breakouts on my skin.

INGREDIENTS

5 cups hot water
3 cups vinegar
1 cup hair conditioner

MAKING FABRIC SOFTENER

  • Mix hot water and conditioner together in a medium bowl.
  • Mix in vinegar and pour in a container of choice.

HOW TO USE

Use the same amount as you would a store-bought softener and add to the regular softener spot in your washer or during the rinse cycle.

Note: Make sure to shake before each use!
