About Me

Hi, my name is Amanda Lorenzo and I am the founder of sparkscreations17.com. I am the mother of an ambitious young man, diagnosed with autism at three; I live with the love of my life and his daughter, and I am an organizing enthusiast.

Thank you so much for being here, it means the world to me! As a thank you for coming to this website there will be tons of free goodies sparkscreations17.comfor you!

I have been an organizing enthusiast forever it seems like, I have been doing it since I was three by organizing my stuffed animals, my toys and shoes. Then it turned in to organizing my desk, cd’s, and my closet. I have changed my methods over the years to improve everything.

I have organized being on a budget and recycling items from around my house, to buying cheap organizers at the store, and even went as far as “trash picking”. There will be a post about “trash picking” to see exactly how I did it and what it led in to.

I have come up with my three different systems based on how influential it was in my life and how I can make an impact in your life. I enjoy helping and doing everything I can to make sure you accomplish your goals and find new methods that work for you.

I went to school to become a teacher and while I was in high school I went to a technical school where I graduated as a preschool teacher. I received multiple awards at graduation some of them were, Presidents award, honorable mention, most creative, first-place winner in two competitions and a few more awards.

I also went to college to become an elementary teacher and did a double major in getting my bachelor’s in science education and special needs.

There are several paths in life to take and sometimes you have to take the path that is best for your child which means putting your dreams on hold for a while or never able to full fill your dreams.

Christmas night 2018I wasn’t able to become an elementary teacher physically due to my son having autism and being very sick and having to have multiple surgeries.

My passion in life is to teach and I knew I needed to figure out a way to accomplish my dream, so making this blog is my way of full filling my dream of teaching and helping others.

Planning is one of the most important things to do weekly and this is something I learned at a very young age in elementary school. Which obviously I did not have perfected because I was just learning how to do it, but over the years I was able to master it based on my situation.

When I was in middle school I played soccer, there were weekend tournaments, games on weeknights, tons of homework and projects. I came up with several systems for making my life more simple to get everything done. If you don’t write it down you won’t succeed.

You forget about half of the stuff you need to get done and late for just about everything if you don’t write your plans down. I love planning and researching and experimenting with the knowledge I find. I have always enjoyed doing this, and in my three methods, this is one of the most important steps.

My three key phases are decluttering, cleaning, and organizing, in order for everything to work you must do it in this order as well.

Everything I share with you can be used in your home and work life. I was a manager in retail for years and implemented all of these phases every day at work as well as in my home life.
